| Jets fan here, I noticed Sands was going to be a free agent next year and I'm hoping that my Jets take a look at him. Its mainly his size that intrigues me, 6-7 340 good make for a really good NT. So I was wondering what you Raider fans think of him. |

his alright, but i dont think he is good enough to be a starter, but if he is in a good rotation he would be good though _________________

| I think hes a waste of a roster spot really. He won't be resigned and now that Sapp has gone down I would love to see Hawthorne get in there and tear it up |

Sands ain't the greatest DT around, but he's okay off of the bench.I think the Raiders will resign him,due to the fact that Ted Washington might retire at the end of this season, and they might not be able to reach a restructuring agreement with Sapp, and his heavily backloaded contract.
I'd like to see us draft DT Haloti Ngata in the 1st round, and wait until the 2nd round to grab the best LB available, since there will be alot of them this coming April. _________________ If you catch a man a fish,he'll eat for a day.If you TEACH a man to fish,he'll eat for a lifetime. |

| If Sapp is let go which i dont think he will be then we would need to pick up a DT but other wise I would love to get Tambi Hali to give us a great pair of DEs. |

I say if any adjustments were to be made it'd be best to setup two DT's like Sapp and Hawtthorne being that Sapp still has some pass rushing skills and Hawtthorne I believe would do well in his second year with Oakland. _________________ Raider Fan |

I completely agree with you. A rotation of Sapp, Kelly, and Hawthorne would be a very good in my opinion. I just really think that with our current roster that DT is not a need at all in the next two months though my mind could change completely. |
