As an Alabama fan, I have high hopes for this upcoming football season. Other Alabama fans can come and discuss Alabama football and the upcoming season here.

So do you think our WR depth chart will have McCoy, Jones, & Alexander as the top 3? I would have thought Stover would have made a bigger impact last season but maybe it was injuries that reduced his playing time. _________________

I also thought that about Stover, but the injuries halted that. McCoy, Jones, and Alexander, like you said, will most likely be the lineup.
-Julio Jones will see action as a #2 guy this year, IMO. |

I'm looking forward to seeing OC McElwain's offensive system and philosophy. It felt like Major never truly opened it up last year or when he did and we got a huge lead, he went crazy conservative after that.
I'm hoping to see Burton Scott play CB or even better in a Charles Woodson type role where he sees both sides of the ball, plus special teams. I think Julio will develop into John Parker's go-to guy rather quickly. _________________

| Same here. And I also felt that way about Major. It felt as if he was holding JPW back too much. He should've just let him go, instead of trying to do it slowly. JPW is one of the best in the country. |

I've seen some random Tide fans throughout FF and hope they find their way to this. I also post on another board as far as the Crimson Tide, altho I won't mention it by name because of our sensitive MOD's.
Less than 3 weeks until Clemson goes down!!! _________________

| Clemson can be the game that can put Alabama back on the National Scene. I think they can pull this one out, if everything goes as planned. Terry Grant and Glen Coffee getting their carries and keeping them with the ball in their hands, the defense rallying to the ball, and Sp. Teams making plays. |

Clemson's NT just got injured and is out until midseason which will open up huge lanes via Cardwell and Caldwell. I hope to see more carries by Roy Upchurch. He seems to be a nice blend of Grant and Coffee but Coach knows best...
I figure we'll prolly redshirt Ivan "The Hatchet" Matchett but Mark Ingram will prolly get some burn. Perhaps sooner than later. _________________

Lets talk about the new "BIG" man on campus and he really is very big.I'm talking about Terrance Cody, the 400 pound DT junior college transfer. How do ya'll think he will fit into the defensive scheme and please find him a good nickname? _________________

Yeah, I can't wait to see Cody devour opposing RB's. I put him on my EA NCAA Football team and adjusted him to his real life size and he is unstoppable. heh heh.
Yday on College Football Live Chris Lowe said Julio looks the part of a future NFL stud and that the other rookie that is making a huge splash so far is S Mark Barron. It sounds like he might start opposite Rashad Johson early in the year if not from jump.
Is Ali Sharrief who stands in his way of that happening? I figure Alonzo Lawrence will prolly start opposite Kareen Jackson with Javier Arenas getting some burn as the nickel. _________________

College Football Live big upped Julio Jones for his 5 catches, 125 yds, 1 TD scrimmage performance.
A scrimmage for sure but just an appetizer for things to come. _________________
