I keep reading posts about how Tyler needs another shot at DE.
My opinion is that his guy is a tweener, when he played at DE he was consistently man handled, he doesn't have the stregth to be a power rusher or the quickness to be a speed rusher nor does he have the speed to be effective at linebacker especially OLB.
Tyler will never be a great DE or OLB, but he has value because he can be a back-up at ether position and do a marginal job. |

| I think your right on target with your analysis .... hes a "jobber" someone there to fill a roster spot ... when he first came to oakland from college ... I thought this kid can be someone here but as the few years go by... I have quickly learned that he is a nobody... and he will be a career backup |

| He doesn't have great strenght and he doesn't have great speed and to start in the NFL you need one of those. |
