Anyone heard the story about Marcus Vick being booted from VT and now he says hes going pro???
What are the thoughts on this and would you want him in oakland?
If so what round is he worth picking? |

could be interesting pick, but too risky... he would go in 3rd most likely-- if we were to go for a qb in this draft we should go with a big name guy like young or leinart- not vick
but it wouldnt be a bad pick.. he could turn out to be really good _________________

See thats what I was thinking.... he could almost be a Randel El type of player for certin packages or schemes... maybe add a little playmaking ability to the team.... i mean offensively.... i would like to see oakland be comparable to the steelers.... we have the star reciever.... if we got vick hes and amazing athlete and its been said his mechanics are better then his brothers as far as the pass.... jordan is a power runner like the bus....IDK where our Willie parker is bue i mean I think overall it would be a decent pick up on day 2 most likely....because of his off the field problems?!?!
Anyone Else? |

My guess is that Marcus will go in round 5. A lot of risk in picking him and he certaintly wouldn't be ready to play for a couple years. He's had consistent off the field problems and I think many teams will shy away from him from a PR standpoint not to mention that he's anything but a prototypical passer.
If he falls to the sixth round I'd like to see us grab him. |

| He will be able 2 make our offense successful. He can throw better than his brother and run just as good. |

| He will be a flop in the NFL and I would seriously be suprised if he ever even made a start for an NFL team |

| He's just another pick that people could laugh at in a few years as a "typical" Raider player. |
