Hypothetical draft situation here. Dallas targeted Jay Cutler and Marcus McNeill in the first round, with both players gone before pick #18, they want to trade down. San Diego at #19 is reportedly interested in LaRon Landry, S, LSU...Darnell Bing returned for his senior season at USC. Would you give up your pick at #26 in this situation, a third round this year, and a second round pick in next years draft to get pick #18?

ok 1st off unless they go to the SB denver will have the 22nd pick from Wash and 30th pick from us. draft ranking does not change unless you go to the SB. as for the trade. no. there are too many good players in this draft to give up considering KO simpson is still on the board. _________________ When you base your opinions off of facts instead of searching for facts that support your opinions you will find yourself often the contrarian but rarely the fool. |

because like i said if they go to the Sb then they slide back. other wise they stay where they are. the only way Den is not #30 is if they either
A) go to the Sb or
B) the colts do not go to the SB. in wich case they would be #29 _________________ When you base your opinions off of facts instead of searching for facts that support your opinions you will find yourself often the contrarian but rarely the fool. |

Quoted from an earlier post from me:
| Quote: | Because of our 13-3 record and strength of schedule of .500, even if we lose our first playoff game we will be the last to pick of the non-superbowl competitors. The round of the playoffs that you get to is meaningless; the only thing that is taken into account to determine the order is final record and strength of schedule. Even if Seattle, who has the same 13-3 record as us, loses early, they would still pick before us because they have a weaker strength of schedule at .430.
However, this basically locks in the Washington pick at 22 for the same reasons...unless of course they make it to the superbowl, where the pick would jump to the 31st or 32nd spot depending if they win or lose. |
Also, the value of the trades is off, Denver is giving up way too much. So, no. _________________
