| I have seen word he is a Cowboy signing. I can't find proof but if that is true than it really sucks... Rolle might be the pick afterall. Please don't let Henry go! |

You can't find proof becuase today is the first day of free agency, but it is in effect a done deal. Chalk up another "oops" to the former regime for not locking him up long term.
This does not force us to take Rolle any more than cutting Garcia forces us to take a QB. We'll see what will be a need and what won't be after free agency. It's still early. |

Henry was a solid player at CB and its a bad move for the Browns to not lock him up... but not to bite my tongue or anything, Ty Law and Daylon McCutcheon could be your starting CB's next year... _________________ "Anything that is worth doing is worth doing right." |

| Henry is a solid corner...gets beat deep too much for me but in all honesty there are 5 or 6 corners in Free-Agency who are better, if the Browns can land one of them I'll be happy if not then i gotta wonder why they let him go. |

I think it's a mistake to let him go - it's one of the few draft picks Butch Davis got right. And not suprisingly, it's apparently Butch's lowball offer to him last year that has Henry looking to move to another team. Thanks again, Butch!! _________________

| I agree that letting Henry go with the plan to upgrade through FA is fine, but I question the possible move none-the-less. Henry is a younger player and had some success with the Browns. Some of these players have to eventually be the leaders of the team. I would like to avoid as much turnover as needed. To me, replacing Henry is not one of the more pressing off season needs. |

At 28, Henry will never get better. I wanted him to stay because he has size and is a solid corner, but he is no #1 guy.
We can replace him. _________________ Savage to the rescue |

I agree, Henry is a solid CB and i really hope he stays. We'll just have to wait and see _________________ Romeo Crennel Gives the Browns their first Super Bowl Win, adding a sixth ring on his finger and his first Super Bowl ring as head Coach |

It really depends what we could've gotten him for. If he wasn't asking for much, he'd probably make a good #2 corner that rotated in when needed. This would be closer to the NB role he did so well at.
He probably asked for more than he was worth. He wasn't a star, so why not let him walk? _________________ The Brownie: The best logo for the Cleveland Browns, EVER! |

Well he's officially a Cowboy now.
No use crying over spilled milk.
He played better than expected, but he can be replaced.
Ken Lucas, Gary Baxter, Renaldo Hill or Mario Edwards could be brought in for less than Ty Law money.
Second round pick has good corners available.
Travis Daniels in the 3rd maybe? Dustin Fox in the 4th? |

I don't know how you can say he stinks.
He's probably a better tackler than any CB in the draft.
He ran a 4.4 40.
For him to start so long at what I consider CBU, Corner Back University, says a lot about him.
With his position coach from college having the same job with the Browns now, he would be utilized well.
I'm not pimping him as a starter, but he can definitely contribute. |

| Dustin Fox stinks? Yeah right, he's fast, and he hits hard... He is a great shutdown corner... Remember when he shut down Purdue two years ago... Yeah, he def. does not stink... But I'd go with Cory Webster or someone in the 2nd round.... or Adam Terry |
