Seems as if he's going to be joining the circus in big D as a consultant over the offensive coordinator job in SF. Thoughts?

He has ties with the organization, could be one reason why he's thinking about returning. He comes from the Landry coaching tree, so hopefully he can bring a no nonsense type of attitude into the organization.

Another slap to the 9ers rep. Reeves would be a great addition for Dallas.

It couldn't hurt in any way.
Dan Reeves is a very smart man.

He was the coach for the Texans, that is what happen to him. Tho a few years off probably have been the best thing for the guy, specially at his age.

He was an advisor or shall we say a consultant of sorts. Owner Bob McNair basically hired him to evaluate Capers/Pendry/Casserley's performances and to see if his ancient artifact of a playbook was worth coxing him out of retirement.

To be quite honest Dan Reeves is an average coach, nothing really special.

I'm hoping that T.O. won't be around long enough for any of us to find out.
