So who are you expecting us to pull in tomorrow?
-I have heard that Byron Moore is likely to be in South Bend next year, as most experts seem to be predicting he is favoring the Irish. He is the most likely to commit to Notre Dame
-Apparently Marlon Pollard is reconsidering the Irish and could possibly recommit. However, it is a vey slim chance that happens, but anything can happen.
-Jawanza Starling is apparently down to the Irish and the Trojans. Hopefully we can steal him away from the Trojans.
-Damien Thigpen is an outside shot for the Irish. He recently decommitted from Tennessee, so ND didn't have much time to recruit him. If he delays the decision it could look good for us.
Manti Te'o is hard to read, but most experts are predicting him to go to USC. I am hoping he can come to South Bend, because he would be the gem of the recruting class. He has such amazing potential, it would be hard to swallow if we miss out on him to hated rival USC. _________________

I am pretty confident that we can land Byron Moore. I am not too sure about any of the others. I don't think Pollard will recommit though. _________________

| I really never get my hopes up when it comes to Notre Dame recruiting. If we can land one guy, I would want it to be Teo, but of course I do not see him coming. The only thing that looks good for the irish is his parents love the school. I think we get moore but that is it. Unfortunately. |

| I want Te'o so bad, but I think he was born to be a Trojan. I mean, how do we get a kid from Hawaii to come to South Bend? I want him more than any other kid this year, but I'm not confident we get him. |

I just saw that on ESPNU. I saw the hat there but thought he was going USC. Good deal. _________________ Buncha whiners. Yup, that means you. |

w00t! Te'o!
Even if he takes the mission trip after his freshman year, we'd still get him back as a 21-year-old sophomore, which would not be a bad thing at all. I'm assuming that he'd definitely be back if Weis is still the coach.
Speaking of which, this upcoming season is critical. I say we need to go at least 9-3 or 10-2, and also try to beat USC. If we beat USC and finish 9-3, or 10-2, we've got Weis back for a while.
I wonder if Te'o will start his freshman year? Or will they bring him along slowly? _________________ "John Wayne and Rio Lobo are coming up next, just as soon as Jeffrey Leonard hits into a 6-4-3." (CRACK!) "Six...four...three!" -- Skip Caray |

| Charlie cut his teeth in the NFL, where the best player plays. If he's the best, he'll play. Just like Rudolph, Blanton. |

While we only got one more of the possible big name recruits, I couldn't be happier with the one we got. Teo is a stud, and is possibly the most explosive player on our defense already.
Our defense actually adds two play makers, since Darrin Walls is coming back to the team next year (he was clearly our best CB as a true sophomore).
I am so excited for Teo to come here!!! Yes. _________________

I was pretty busy today, but I did hear about it during the day.
I am so happy. If there was one guy I wanted us to get for this recruiting class, it was Te'o. He should start right away. He's that good. I am also happy to see we are bringing in a guy with his skill on defense because I know Weis is good at nailing down offensive guys.

Today was like christmas... Actually better. I got the one player I wanted in this recruiting class in Manti Te'o. He is an unreal talent that should start next year next to Brian Smith, Steven Filer, and company. Words could not express how extactic i was when i got the txt in class today that Manti was irish... I actually shouted out an awkard YES! This is the first true defensive phenom that Weis has got. He changes the dimension of the game. We have missed on some great defensive prospects: Chris Donald, Major Wright, Martez Wilson, Geral McCoy it was about time we picked up a STUD. _________________
