Chris Johnson and if you vote for anyone else, you're insane. PLEASE get that man a passing game.

Ya well Steven Jackson has no passing game, and he is tied for 2nd in rushing yards.. and he is not even on the poll.. this is a terrible poll

Part of that is contributed to the fact that he has played in one more game than everyone on the poll besides Peterson.

Does it really matter how many games he has played in ?? Point is he is carrying his team who cannot pass the ball on his back and is tied with Adrian Peterson in rushing yards, he is still a top back and him not being on this poll is obsurd

Rams - 24th in passing

Titans - 26th in passing

http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=2&offensiveStatisticCategory=TEAM_PASSING&conference=ALL&role=TM&season=2009&seasonType=REG&d-447263-s=PASSING_NET_YARDS_GAME_AVG&d-447263-o=2&d-447263-n=1

More games = more chances to get yards, it's pretty simple.

FAIL!!!!

214
244
284

The best passing games of the season for Collins. Not to mention the far better O-line in both sections.

213 is the most Bulger has had in a game. And that was against the Jaguars.

Don't try it son. Both QBs are better then Bulger. And he has an actual NFL RB with a 1,000 yard season backing him.

Lol, read the above post, son.

AP - 8 games, 163 carries, 784 yards, 9 TD's, 4.8 YPC.

CJ - 7 games, 119 carries, 824 yards, 4 TD's, 6.9 YPC.

Yep, it's not even close. Rolling Eyes

We all understand you're the biggest homer Titan fan on the board, but that doesn't mean you have to make a big deal out of everyone who doesn't think a Titan is the best at their respective position.

Nice, personal attacks. Laughing Usually means I'm winning.

I'm not making a big deal out of it, the thread was made and I posted facts.

+1

I love CJ, I doubted him so much but he is easily a top 3 running back now.

The only thing CJ has is he 6.9 YPC, which is totally ridiculous, But AD is the whole package, I know your going to try and prove that CJ has better blocking or he is better out of the backfield etc. AD just does a lot more things better than CJ.

Or it means you feel compelled to prove anyone wrong who doesn't share the same opinion as you. And I posted facts too. It's a fact that you are a homer if you think Chris Johnson, who has had a great half of a season, is better than Adrian Peterson, who has had 2 and a half straight great seasons.

Like what? There is a reason that CJ is in on passing downs and AP takes a seat to Chester Taylor. He cannot block for crap, something that CJ is actual above average at.

CJ also doesn't turn the ball over like AP, CJ has fumbled TWICE in his career, something AP has done in one game....

CJ has played in 7 games, one less than AP while still having 50 or so less carries than AP and has outgained him...

Sorry, but CJ has been better and it's not CLOSE.

More personal attacks, fun. Wink

You posted no facts, it's all opinions. The FACT is, CJ has been better at everything this year.

If you like your star RB fumbling once ever 50 attempts that's fine with me...

Or maybe AD sits on third downs because we have a great third down running back behind him in Chester Taylor. So just because Peterson comes out on third downs makes him worse than Chris Johnson? Sorry your fat alcoholic backup isn't as good as Taylor. So because Chris Johnson has two monster games against less than stellar run defenses, he's automatically better than AD? Peterson has two fumbles this year, Chris Johnson has one. What a huge difference. You can't decide to use this years stats to benefit Johnson, and use past year's stats to try and bring Peterson down. How many yards did Johnson have in that game against New England? 128. How many were against the starters? Like 30. So he can beat up on a bunch of 2nd and 3rd stringers and all of a sudden he's a superstar. That was such a meaningful game he had against New England too.

Not to mention Peterson has twice as many touchdowns as Johnson. Sorry bud, I'll take touchdowns over yards every day.

And Mesa_Titan, also notice how the poll is 17-4, and the 17 sure as hell isn't representing Chris Johnson. It's because the posters here are smart and can see that two monster games and a bunch of crappy/decent ones doesn't make you better than a running back who is easily the most feared back in the league that has been doing it longer.

Adrian Peterson by a landslide.
