The Los Angles Lakers select Al Jefferson.
The Lakers choose Al Jefferson because, at 24 years old, he is the 2nd best young big man in the league. He has flexibility to play power forward or center. He makes huge contributions by scoring points, blocking shots, and rebounding with the best in the league. He will be much more efficient now that he is on a team with some talent.
