not A bad miami draft, question on the 2nd and 3rd round picks if they will fit into the 3-4 perfectly but i like it otherwise, also should note Soliai has looked very good in the 3-4 NT so that isnt as big a need as FS is atm or TE which are horrid

Excellent Saints draft.

Kindle in the late 1st round be excellent. He would be a monster in GW's attacking defense. He would be able to be in 4-3 DE & OLB, as well as 3-4 OLB.

I don't know much about Geno Atkins...other than saying that 4-3 NT is a position of need.

Jon Dwyer is an absolute steal that late. The Saints don't necessarily need a RB with Bell, Thomas, and Bush...but if would be tough to pass Dwyer up in the 3rd round.

you have SF drafting the same guy in round two then in Round three. Maybe they didn't think they got him in round two so they drafted him again in round 3?

you hit needs but FS pick is two rounds two high.

if you give the Bills Jake Locker in the first round and Bruce Campbell in the third it would be an amazing Bills draft.

I thought that Kindle was a better fit here than Philly

5. Kansas City Chiefs:Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska

Good player but a very bad pick for KC. Suh is a much better fit in a 4-3 defense. If he did play in a 3 - 4 defense he would be a much better DE then NT. KC is already set at DE.

id take Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma St.
Our offensive line is in shambles and we need to give Cassel time to make things happen

Quote:
5. Kansas City Chiefs:Mike Iupati, OG, Idaho

If we get Okung in roudn 1 i would like
Damian Williams,* WR, USC, great value and would fit a need. Bowe Williams woudl be a very nice tandem.
PS You listed him twice also going to baltimore

Quote:
23. Kansas City Chiefs(from Atlanta):Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma

Would not be a bad value pick for KC

Quote:
5.Kansas City Chiefs:Roddrick Muckelroy, OLB, Texas

Jerry Hughes, DE, TCU woudl easily be the pick

Quote:
5.Kansas City Chiefs:Cameron Sheffield, OLB, Troy

If it was up to me i would be looking hard at a nose tackle or center here

I think before you attempt another mock it would be wise to re-rank your players some are far too high and others far too low.
Also id suggest look at what players a team is expected to lose through age or free agency and check with fans for team needs

I feel like a DE in the second is a better use of a pick than TE, since the emergance of Celek

good effort, much better than I could ever do

Not a big fan of this mock draft for the Raiders. Not for lack of effort, but Taylor Mays will NOT be a Raider next season. We have a lot of depth at Safety, we have Tyvon Branch who leads all NFL safeties in tackles and has been playing lights out for us, we drafted Mike Mitchell in the second round last year, and he is the future along with Branch. And Michael Huff has also showed signs of life and playing like a top ten pick. It just wont happen, if Mays came out last season he would be in silver and black now, but it just wont happen now. Al will fall in love with Mays size and speed, but even he couldnt justify picking a Safety this year, it is really last on our team needs, and Al still usually picks for need.

That being said and Suh, McCoy, Dunlap all being gone, and Okung still on the board he should be the pick, it would be a smart pick even in Al's mind because he would be drafting a player that would also help Jamarcus Russell.

In the second I would much rather see Marvin Austin DT North Carolina, big and very very athletic. He will catch Al's eve after putting up crazy numbers for a 300+ DT. And it fills a position of need.

With the first third round pick I think Brandon Ghee would be the better pick as we really lack depth at CB for the first time in a long time.

Love the Gilyard pick in the 3rd.

In the fourth I would rather see Micha Johnson because we have two of our starting LBs set to hit free agency this offseason so at least one of them will walk probably Thomas Howard. We need more LBs.

Not bad for the Cards. You are one of the very few who actually picked LB's who could work in a 3-4 Defense. That alone gets you an A+ in my book.

30. New England Patiots:Golden Tate, WR, Notre Dame
First pick is bad. He is to small to play in a 3-4, yes we've been running a lot of 4-3 but we still go to 3-4 and want personnel for it. He is 228lbs(if I'm wrong correct me) which is way to small to be an ILB or OLB.
I'd prefer Kindle

George Selvie is not that good, and i dont think he is worth an early 2nd and don't really want 2 OLB in first 2 picks.

Prefer pick Gresham. We have 2 TEs and Watson is a FA. Even is Watson is resigned Gresham could still fit the need and could learn from them for a season. But i have a feeling Watson won't be resigned and some team will overpay him.

Cox is tall and BB usually wants shorter quicker CBs. but we have so much depth in our secondary drafting a CB early is unneeded.

Bodden has been fantastic and if he isnt resigned Butler has been fantastic and is ready to step in. Leaving us w/ Butler Wilhite Springs and Wheatley. Wheatley has potential but has been hurt and hasnt played much since he broke his wrist after a fantastic game against Peyton Manning. We should draft a CB in 4th or later.

I think this pick will be traded but I'd like Noel Devine. He may be short but he runs hard and could be a great value at HB(and he isnt in your mock, imo he is at least a third)

Tate is good pick, a lot of pats fans love him, probably switch him to our 2nd 2nd and Devine as our 3rd second.
