Tonight's the night for C.J. Spiller's national coming out party for the Heisman. I look for him to have another big game here for a national audience at night on ESPN against an underachieving FSU defense. All signs point to this one being a shootout barring Christian Ponder's ribs not holding up or Clemson's top-15 defense playing like they are capable at home in Death Valley. For him to have a real chance at winning it, Clemson needs to at least win this game and their final games against N.C. State, Virginia and rival South Carolina; a very manageable situation for a solid team. If they can avoid an inexplicable let-down like against Maryland, this should be the day where voters look back on to affirm Spiller's worthiness for the award. If they can't get by FSU tonight, then Spiller's chances of winning are all but washed down the drain right now. I just don't see that happening tonight.

All of the following are just plays from this year's games:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlyYj0HtY9c This return is probably one of the best ones I've ever seen giving his will to score even after losing a shoe and pushing through his nagging turf toe injury that you can see bothered him when the play is over. Here it is again in a different video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU_HjK0va1k&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXWpSN06HAc&feature=related 63 yard reception against GT

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sw_Vmqe9H88&feature=related 60 yard reception against TCU

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8Ab_GusuaQ&feature=related 77 yard punt return against Wake Forest

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyecQxIiqIY&feature=related Highlights of the Miami game. He had 310 yards this game so you see #28 pretty often in the video.

http://clemsontigers.cstv.com/ Spiller's Heisman campaign site (not made by Spiller) There are some of the same plays in a video section, but it isn't the best video player.

I could see him finishing in the top three. It's not like there's a player that's really separated himself from the rest of the pack this year, the race is still wide open.

It could literally be about 5-10 players right now, so why not CJ Spiller? He's certainly in the running.

...no pun intended!

If he keeps breaking 60 yards TDs all the time I don't know how he doesn't at least get invited to the Heisman ceremony.

3 rec, 67 yards (58 yard rec TD)

This dude is awesome.

He's just electric. In his first 10 carries, 6 of them were for 0 or negative yardage. Yet he still had over 60 yards.

But Clemson needs to win for Spiller to have any shot.

312 all purpose yards tonight, 22 for 165 and a TD and 3 catches for 67 and a TD.

In his two most important games of the year, he has gone over 300 all purpose yards both times.

I would also like to see this list. Perhaps it's changed now. Oh, and you can call me a prophet. Haha, it only took one real game (since he rested up during the Coastal Carolina game) to break his own all-purpose record on him gimpy turf-toe. I was at the game so I don't know if they were mentioning it, but it's just incredible the numbers he's putting up with that injury. He's obvious hurting at times and yet he's still dominating with an injury some players don't even play with.

After watching that game I dont know how any one can not love him for what he does on the filed. I just hope Clemson wins the ACC so he has a legit shot of winning the Heisman. he seems to love tearing up Fla def's(Miami, Fla St.) I hope he doesnt play my Gators for several reasons lol
