well we all know he was going to be released today or monday and the jets wanted something, anything in return the vikings came calling and the jets originally asked for a fifth or sixth round pick.
the vikings said sorry we want cowart but we are already working on deals involving those picks...
with that said the off-season could get even more interesting pretty quick here. |

i'd still rather have boldin but, gardner would be decent. |

| If we get Rod Gardner for a 5th Do you guys think we'd need to draft Mike Williams? we will have added 2 WR that were 1st rounders that didn't live up to their potential cause of lack of QB. So personally I think we would be set at WR and could look elsewhere in the draft........the thing IS though that there are little holes left to fill. A DE, maybe a OLB, O Line?If we keep filling all these holes then we might want to start looking at a RB in the draft that can carry the hole work load. |

Our draft just keeps getting more and more wide open. I have never been a big fan of the WR at #7, but it seems more and more likely.
OL is still a little shallow but that could be solved with mid-round picks.
OLB is what we should address with our first pick. Saftey or DE with the 18. _________________

yes i agree we could look elsewhere...but on that note with the aquired cowart we also don't neccesarily need to go lb either...i think we could truly go BPA which would be the best thing to do anyway.
i still want merriman tho |

| Yea I thinm Merriman is going to be sick and he could play DE or OLB which both of those are one of our weaker parts..... |
