If you don't know who this kid is keep reading....

He is the RS Frosh QB at FSU this coming season and he will have an impact on CFB ...a big one..probably like Vick had.

You name it he has it.......6'4 230LBS...consistently throws the ball over 84 yards...accurate with pocket presence...serious pocket presence. He runs a 4.5 with moves. No exaggeration

This clip does not do him justice...still it's a free look!

http://samnite.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/xlee.wmv

The kid has it all and he is about to explode all over CFB

It's funny how many "mobile" QBs are being compared to Michael Vick now-a-days. Remember the days when they were being compared to Warren Moon? Was it really that long ago?

This kid is not like Vick in terms of style of play......I compared him to Vick with regard to Impact on the game....Vick exploded on the scene in 99...this kid can do the same....but he is not a runaround type of QB.

He does have the quick release and Vick like arm strength though. He will be better than Vick in College....IMO.

HAHA, he hasnt even shown any signs of being a capable QUARTERBACK!...

he still has to battle it out with top QB prospect Drew Weatherford if he wants to play

i read on an ncaa forum on maddenmania.com that he was in the top 10 of all highschool kids going into college in the 100 meter dash. the guy listed everybody's times and he was like 7th out of everybody.

thats very very fast.

he almost was as fast as ginn.

i dont know about his skills though, i thout that sexton or w/e his name was, was going to take over the job. he wasnt very impressive last year tho.

btw, noone, i mean noone throws the ball over 84 yards. the farthest i've ever heard from a legit. source of a qb throwing a ball was 72yds-adrian mchperson- on nfl.com

leftwich and palmer, considered two of the absolute best arms in the nfl, could barely get 65 yds.

i dont believe this kid throws 84 yds.

John Elway threw his vortex football 100 yards Laughing

But yeah, 84 yards is far as anything...I can probably throw like 25...but thats why I'm not playing football at FSU

"And Xavier Lee is great, not just as a quarterback but as an athlete. I sat there and watched him throw the ball down the field 84 yards and it was shocking. It looked effortless for him to throw that ball that far. And then watching him in practice run routes and he made Keith Rivers -- Keith Rivers is one of the best linebackers in America (and) Xavier Lee made him look horrible. He ran a route and left Keith behind, and you know Xavier Lee is a great player if he can do that to a great player like Keith Rivers."

http://ohiostate.scout.com/2/220116.html

There is video of him doing it ...repeatedly. Reports from the HS all america game from Coach Bob Palko and many other players all said the same thing. He has thrown it 67 yards from his knees in practice at FSU.

Keep in mind McPherson threw that 72 yard pass flatfooted so of course he also can throw it a little further. So can Ryan Perrilloux and I have seen his video of him throwing it over 60 yards from his knees

Just wait till this upcoming season....see for yourself

Vigilante, your underestimating X Lee. In todays scrimmage he threw for 140 and 3 tds and 1 int. With his performance he may have solidified his spot as the starting QB. Weatherford is doing fine, i wouldnt mind seeing him a QB either. Weatherford and X Lee have more upside than Sexton at this point because both QBs are mobile and with the line not playing well that is a plus.

So you don't make inaccurate statements like the one you made about XLEE needing to prove he can play QB. thats a joke....we are not talking Michael Robinson here

Jeff Blake threw it 80 yards against the wind. When he was in Cincinati he was in the QB skills competiton. It was rumored that Favre could thow it 90 yards with the wind.
