I think you have correctly identified the 49ers need to rebuild the front seven. Two solid picks to fill their need for a 3-4 DE and a Hybrid DE/OLB. Nice work.

Bad Bears' picks.

Olsen isn't a 1st rounder IMO. However, I think we would take a chance on Eric Weddle for safety depth.

We're trying to work out a long-term deal with Briggs, so we won't need a LB. We are good at SLB with Hillenmayer, as well. Better pick is Arron Sears, OL, Tennessee.

I was with you until you have the Browns take Quentin Moses. He'd be an OLB in their 3/4 and they have a couple good ones right now and another that they like alot on the bench. He's just not big enough to play defensive end. Beekman and Mebane are better picks in the second for them.

first off, it would cost minn their 1st, 2nd in 07, and 3RD in 08,

AND no to mosses in 2nd, no more lbs tell next year(3-4 defense)
give us guards, rt, dline

like 1st=peterson
2nd=sears, pitcock (de in 3-4)

you are way off for denver

DENVER WONT TAKE A CB IN ROUND 1!!!!! DO RESEARCH! Our team needs are DE/DT/S in no particular order

Lamaar Woodley is suited for the 3-4 scheme, and we don't run that...we need a true, big , physical, downlineman

redo this..

Not sure if the Vikes pick adds up on the DVC but I like it none the less!

Very nice Vikes pick...

Could see the Bolts taking Meachem if he is there. Just another offensive weapon.

Love Jarrett complimenting Vince Young in tennesse

good draft

And last year Denver fans kept telling me they wouldn't take Cutler at 15, let alone trading up to get him. You never know, they may go CB. Round 1 isn't always about need, for a lot of teams its about taking the best player available on your board unless it is a blantantly obvious mistake (Like the Colts wouldn't take a QB rd 1).

I'm sorry but if we draft a Corner in round 1, he'd be nothing more than a Nickel corner

what's the point in that

It's BLATANTLY obvious that we have arguably one of the top 5 players in the NFL playing CB for us. That's half the field. And everyone assumes because the tragic death of DWill that we need a replacement that badly? No..we have kids who can step up. The other side doesnt' have to be CHAMP BAILEY, we already have that. He just has to be a good defensive player. That's Dominique Foxworth

What if the coaches feel better about Foxworth as the nickle? What if the best player available on their boards is a CB? Lots of what ifs to just dispell it. That said, I don't have them going CB in rd 1 either.

Like the Pozlusny move in the 1st for the Eagles. But I doubt they take linebackers in back to back picks.Might want to think about a running back or a safety or corner at that spot
