As much I hate, hate, hate, hate to do it, i have to defend a gator. I have watched many UF games, and i'll tell u right now Chris Leak is the real deal. Other than Lienhart, Leak is the best manager of the game in college football. He is a student of the game and is always well prepared for every game. He is accurate and he has a pretty damn strong arm. If he was 3 or 4 inches taller, i would compare him to Peyton Manning. If anything the players around him are so overrated it makes him look bad. Caldwell is nowhere near as good as people think he is. Just because u signed your letter of intent on Sportscenter doesn't make u the next superstar at WR. I've watched this [inappropriate/removed] pick apart my Seminoles the past 2 years. I really hope the hype gets to him and he slips, i doubt that will happen.

As much as i hate to agree with gyro i gotta do it this time. Leak is the goods. He came to doak last year and just picked apart the vaunted nole d. everytime they needed a big first down he did it with ease. i think he mahy be better than leinhart.

youd expect that from a person from ohio

and I expect you to say he's not that impressive seeing as how you are from Michigan. Maybe you are a wolverines fan. If you are, I'm sure you noticed that he casterated your special teams and left your balls dangling from on top of the Eifel Tower as he strutted into the end zone. I believe he had close to 200 total yards that game. If you aren't a Wolverines fan, than watch the guy play and I guarantee you will be impressed.

I'd have to say that Sam Keller is the most overrated, because he has played in a grand total of one game, and people are already anointing him as the next Jim Plunkett.

Joseph Ayoob Cal QB, I know that he hasn't played a game yet, but I read an article somewhere online (ESPN?) where they called him the white Michael Vick in terms of his mobility.

[quote]I agree that he is a great returner, but you don't win the heisman for just returning punts for TD's, i want to see him be the shut down corner everyone says he is.

How does he only return punts? He had 2 rushing TD's and 2 Receiving TD's, along with 4 Return TD's... I understand that it is in your blood to shut down OSU as much as possible, but be realistic... You guys act like he sucks... Talk to Oklahoma State fans, and they'll tell you....

Once again, I am not dening this guys athletic ability, and I'm not saying he won't be a future top 5 pick, but the way he is talked about on this board is insane. I could go around saying Mike Hart for heisman, he had a better freshman season that Ginn did. I know he is quick, agile, and has good vision with the football in his hand. Is his true position not CB? How did he fare in that position last season? Or maybe the better question would be, how often did he play CB? Until you go around saying he will be a top 5 pick and hesiman winning corner, let him line up there for a season.

Ginn might be staying more on offense because his high school team mate Jemario Oneal will probably be the starting cornerback along with Youboty after the Texas game as a true freshman.

But back to Ginn, he'll be an all-american no matter where he lines up on the field because he is mabe the best natural athlete to come into college football in the last 10 years and he is a football player at heart.

whether ginn was a CB in high school or not does not change the fact that he is the best athlete in america and is a top 5 pick on offense already. He is said to be even better on d, so he could be top 5 either side of the ball if he plays D at TOSU.
About Michael Hart, how can you say he had a better freshmen season if Hart was not an all american, but Ginn was. Oh, and what was Hart's total amount of yardage against the Bucks? If you remember right, I believe Ginn had a monster game and a punt return for a TD, while Hart got shut down. That Hart arguement is worthless!

I agree with you and everyone else that he is a phemoninal athlete with skills that rival those of Reggie Bush, but there is no denying that he is overrated at the CB position AS OF NOW. I don't doubt that he can be a shut down guy, but until he proves it on the field, it is all speculation.

If the OSU fans want to say hes going to be a star WR (which he showed glimpses of this past season), then say that instead of a shut down corner, because he's done nothing to prove that he can play there at a heisman notch...yet.

Well, i'm sure Hart would have been a freshman all-american if Adrian Peterson didn't have the greatest freshman rushing season ever. Everyone has there great games, and the Michigan game was his. But Hart produced all year. He didn't have the flashy punt returns, but he churned up the yards and was just as important to that team as Braylon Edwards was. The only reason everyone thinks Ginn is so good is because he was flashy. Let's see how he can do when he has a full-time job.
