The Baltimore Ravens announced Wednesday, July 11, that they have signed third-round draft pick OL Marshall Yanda to a three-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Good to see another team get one of their first day picks signed. Yanda was taken in the third round, 86th overall to be exact and can play multiple positions. At Iowa he played a little bit of both OT and OG so he is versatile. He will probably play LT this year and once Jonathan Ogden retires Yanda will more than likely start.

The 240-pound FIU alum ran a 4.43 forty and repped 225 31 times at the NFL Combine. He'll help Jarret Johnson replace Adalius Thomas as a rookie.

Ravens also signed LB Antwan Barnes. He was selected in the fourth round, 134th overall pick. He is a very fast LB, running the forty yard dash in the 4.4s. He reminds me a lot of another Raven, Terrell Suggs because they both can play LB or be a DE coming off the edge.
