why? he cant cover, thats a big reason why he is gone from the eagles. He is just a run stopper and awful in that system _________________

Oe of the best defensive leaders around. While he is a liabilty in Pass coverage, Trotter could be a good asset to TB. _________________

Trotter is a great player in this league don't get me wrong or at least he was.
As a LB at the professional level such as Trotter, you have many aspects of the game that come into factor when your number is called. It all starts with being played in the appropriate scheme or defensive system.
In this case, I'm going to have to agree with Sickness... He is by no means necessary for the Tampa Bay defense. _________________

Well I am going to make a decision if it was a wrong system later in the season, but I am just happy that Trotter is coming back and find a home to play and contribute in the season. Good luck to him. _________________

That's the first thing I thought of too when I read this. To be a good LB in Tampa, you gotta be able to play coverage...and Trotter just can't do that anymore. _________________

I don't get this pick up other than possibly adding a locker room leader to replace Rice. Though after looking at this past off season I have to say that if Tampa doesn't work out for Gruden he'd probably be a great fit for the Redskins once Gibbs leaves. _________________

Not really.
Brooks is good but aging, Trotter is broke and cant cover and June is overrated.
That LB corps needs a serious overhaul. _________________

I wouldn't say they need a serious overhaul but they do need some youth. Atleast they have some rookies that can play linebacker. _________________

That's exactly it. He's expected to back up and mentor Barrett Ruud, who is a first year starter. I still don't understand the move. _________________
