The Boston Globe wrote: | The Patriots released receiver Reche Caldwell today, according to a league source.
Caldwell led the team with 61 receptions last season. He was one of six receivers on the final roster formulated Saturday, joining Randy Moss, Donte' Stallworth, Wes Welker, Jabar Gaffney and Kelley Washington. |

I bet he won't be unemployed long. Caldwell is better than a lot of guys. I wouldn't mind the Browns taking a good, hard look at him. Caldwell has to be better than Tim Carter. _________________

Caldwell is defiantly better then Tim Carter.
Just no room for him on our roster, hmm we're cutting WR's, i guess Randy Moss is next! |

Moss is "in the house" according to Mike Reiss practicing.
I was a supporter of Caldwell all season and I hope he gets a spot on somebodys roster soon. |

HAHA!! Yeah, that would be the only downside to seeing Caldwell sign with the Browns. Charlie Frye's errant passes would have him looking bug eyed all year long. _________________

I'm dying from laughter right now, ahhaaha!! He always has that look on his face, as if he just saw that Loch Ness monster and Bigfoot mugging a leprachaun. _________________ Stan Kroenke listens to Nickelback |

He'd be a solid pickup for a number of teams. I doubt anyone will make him their #1 like we did last year, but as a #2 or #3 he'd work well in a place like Atlanta, Tampa, Oakland or Tennessee.
... or he could fall off the face of the earth completely, like David Givens and David Patten. You never know with these ex-Pats receivers. Brady has a way of making mediocre targets look good. _________________

I never have liked his talent. Avg. number 3 receiver at best. |

^^Well he certainly showed last year that he has a lot of talent, but like Tzimisce said, he very well could fall of the table like Givens and Patten did. _________________
