And you know what it's worth. Tampa Bay and Tennessee were tied with the best preseason record and we all know thats not an accurate indication of how their season will play out _________________

if you really think the offenses anyone faces in the PS are anything like the regular season, you are very mistaken, not to mention, the level of competition and quality of players being faced for 60 minutes
its preseason, we will see about that high powered run D tomorrow , for what its worth _________________

True but you can clearly see when a units playing much better.
In 2004 we were ranked 19th in scoring defense. In the 2005 preseason you could see how much better they were playing. You could see the attitude, energy and improvement across the board. Still though everyone told us our defense sucked because it did in 2004 and little was added.
Hey presto we finished 2nd in scoring defense in 2005.
The results dont matter and the stats don't matter. However when you see a marked improvement in performance that definately matters. Those who watched our preseason games agree.

A reason to believe: Despite losing four starters, the Colts defense is better. That's right, better. The unit has played stout against the run in August (2.7 yards per rush) and the tackling is noticeably improved. Nobody's missing Cato June, Jason David, Nick Harper, or even Anthony McFarland at this point. |

Yeah the SoCalled experts always put alot into the PS, but they are always proved wrong toooo, but the truth will be known very soon
I hope the Colts are better at stopping the Run, I have a bet on there first game against the Saints, I hope they win, but I doubt that run defense differs much from 06
BTW 19th is a lot different then 32nd _________________

But to be fair, he has looked very good so far in the preseason and this isnt a suprise. I wounder why they dont like Quinn Pitcock as a starter??? |
