I think it could be the right choice. He has looked good so far in the preseason. We shall see how long he can keep the job now, since he doesn't have to worry about Russell coming in and taking the job soon.

it makes sense, particularly since their first game is against Detroit, a team Pep has seen before.

I was hoping Culpepper would get the starting job. He certainly deserve it, and IMO one of the candidates for CPOY.

That's weird, because I was watching ESPN and the also reported that Culpepper was going to be the starter. And Raiders Lane Kiffin was going to announce it later today.

Man...can the Raiders do anything right? 
Conflicting stories and I really don't know what to believe. I would personally go with Culpepper though.

And when Oakland plays Minnesota as well. That one is at the metrodome if my memory serves me correctly. Culpepper has to face both ex teams, tough for him. I really hope the metrodome crowd really lets Culpepper have it.
