A source tells us that there is a rumor making that rounds that Falcons defensive tackle Rod Coleman suffered a serious knee injury during practice on Thursday.

The talk is that Coleman will undergo surgery on Friday, and could be lost for the season, and possibly longer.

Would make the Falcons even worse if this turns out to be true.

Injuries like this are never good and leave teams scrambling to find replacements

Sorry to spam with smilies, but that might be a death knell right there. We were planning on having Coleman back like Week 1 or 2....

Terrible timing for the FAlcons. They have to face the two headed rushing attack of Peterson and Taylor. Good for the Vikings Smile

As a Browns fan, I know what no good news sounds like. Sorry Falcons, it may be a long year if people don't step up.

The Falcons have had terrible luck this offseason. Now they lose a great pass rusher and their best DT. This will hurt the Falcons pretty bad IMO.
