Based on the hit that Jacobs took, it's quite possible that he may have torn his MCL. If he did, he's done for the year. We'll find out more tomorrow after the results of the MRI. _________________

Don't ever say that.
That would break my heart. My fantasy season rides on Jacobs knees. |

Lorenzen was awesome at Kentucky haha.
Anyways, I like Jacobs, I hope he's ok. _________________

I hope Jacobs is ok. He looked great against the Ravens in the preseason. I don't think the Giants can afford to lose him.
Lorenzen is a big QB. I laughed when Madden called him "The Pillsbury Throw Boy." _________________

| That looked like a really hard hit. That was one strong guy driving another big, strong guy into his knees. The way his knees swayed to the side like that looked like he got hurt real bad. |

Jacobs is out for 3-5 weeks. Although you're a rival I never like to see these things happen. Sorry Giants fans. |
Yea.. the only thing that comforts me is we were still able to put up 35 points on a good Dallas defense without him. IF Spags can find a way to stiffen our defense up we might actually have a shot at competing in the division. I can only recall one bad throw by Eli last night. Everything else was hitting targets dead in the chest. Hopefully it's just a shoulder bruise like everyone says and he'll be fine for next week. That Packer defense looked impressive against Philly so we're going to need everything we got to beat them. _________________

| Wow... big hit. 3-5 Weeks? That's big. Football gods are not on the Giants side. |

Seriously.. other then the Browns can you think of a team who gets screwed by the injury bug more then the G-Men? We've gone through multiple conditioning coaches and it's the same thing every year. I don't recall Jim Fassels teams having quite this many injuries. Maybe Major Tom's strict training camp does more damage then good to these guys. _________________

Wow, the NFC East was rocked with injuries this week. Jon Jansen and Jason Ferguson both suffered season-enders, Eli's out four weeks, Umenyiora's out two months, and Jacobs is out 3-5. Injuries are just killing the Giants. It's sad to see, because it reminds me of the Eagles from two years ago. _________________

I think the Panthers could be up there. They have had a ton of injuries the last 5 years or so, with Dan Morgan, Steve Smith, Jake Delhomme, Travelle Wharton, Mike Rucker, Kris Jenkins, Deshaun Foster, and others missing significant time during that stretch. _________________

Lol, when he said that I started laughing. Then I saw him in the game and I didn't think he was lieing for a second. He looks like one of the drunk fans in the stands threw on a jersey and told them to let him play. _________________
