He hurt it in warmups before the game... awesome.
Well, I say we just put him on IR and find a season replacement.
EDIT:
Good news... Scobee isn't as bad as first thought.

Someone pelase tell me how the kicker gets hurt in warmups. So, I'm guessing you guys don't have a backup? _________________

Apparently he hit his foot on the ground, and with all that force he pulled something. _________________

Strange that he kicked an XP and a FG in the first half. Must have gotten worse at halftime. Still, you would think they would have somebody else who could try a 36 yard FG on the team. Didn't someone else kick at some point in their life? Podlesh kicked in HS... I would think he had a better chance of making at 36 yarder than a 4th and 10 shovel pass. _________________

At least he wasn't "choppin' wood." _________________ "22 players are involved in every football play. To value precisely the activity of one of them, it is first necessary to account for the actions of the other 21" |

The XP and Field Goal were close enough for him... but anything beyond 20 was probably out of range for him.
When I heard about the injury, I thought, if we lose by 3... I'm going to cry.
I didn't cry, but man was that ironic. _________________

Makes sense. That was definitely a huge turning point in the game. I suddenly became excited knowing you guys essentially needed a TD since FG's were out of the question.
I still wonder about Podlesh or anybody else. I've kicked a 36 yarder before just messing around on a field. You'd think someone on the team could have given it a good attempt.
My money's on Carney so Berman can get some more mileage out of the "Chicken Con" nickname. _________________
