Yes it is tru Bobby Taylor was cut today I am so happy maybe we can go after this guy. He is a good leader and still a pretty darn good corner I think his leadership will help alot. Could you imagine our secondary looking like this.

LCB Bobby Taylor

FS Nick Collins

SS Autro Freemen

RCB Al Harris

I think that would be better then last years for sure.

Yea, that's pretty good.
Subbing in Ahmad Carroll when the CBs get tired would turn a below average secondary to a good one.

http://www.packersnews.com/archives/news/pack_21269370.shtml

In there it talks about players we may look at if cut. And one of them is Lance Schulters. If we do go after this guy do you see him starting for us? Or as a back up?

Quote:
No thanks: Wide receiver Koren Robinson and cornerback Bobby Taylor of Seattle and Kansas City wide receiver Johnnie Morton were three big-name players released Thursday. McKenzie said the only one the Packers might have a slight interest in is Taylor, but they won't be setting up a visit with him any time soon.

I quoted these from this: http://www.jsonline.com/packer/news/jun05/331177.asp. But looks to me like you might have to change the LCB. And possibly the FS to Lance Schulters.

Quote:
Tennessee is expected to release safety Lance Schulters due to salary-cap reasons soon and McKenzie said Green Bay might be interested in him.

Taylor would be an upgrade but he would cost way too much money for just a couple years of service. He is 11 years into his career if I remember correctly. That means he only has a year or two left. Not worth it.
