The draft is inching closer and closer and still there is no for sure way to go in the draft we still have many weaknesses and probably won't be able to fill every postion but I'm going to just jump into it.

FA Signing: Wisniewski G/C
I think Wisniewski will get back on track and be a good player for us let's us not panic and reach on a linemen.

NFL DRAFT

*TRADE!!!*

The Eagles Trade up to the 6th overall pick giving up the 8th overall and 79th overall to move up.

With the 6th pick the Eagles Select Jared Goff QB CAL 6'4" 215
We tried to move up to 2nd overall but it costed to much (Wentz) and I think we got the better end of the deal. We get a player that will be able to sit from anywhere 1 to 3 years while he learns the playbook, make presnap adjustmeants, and add wieght to his frame and we will have time to add pieces for him when he's ready to take over the offense.

With the 77th Pick the Eagles select Javon Hargrove 3T/1T SC State 6'1" 310
We go back to the Reid Era and build through the trenches. Hargrove is a player we all know about, but he will form one of the NFL best DT rotations with Cox and Logan and fits perfectly in Schwartz's Attacking 4-3.

With the 100th Pick the Eagles select Connor McGovern G/RT 6'4" 311
Once again we go to the trenches and select a player that can fight for a starting job this year at LG or when we move on from Peters we can slide Johnson to LT and move McGovern to RT.

With the 153th Pick the Eagles select Daniel Lasco RB CAL 6'0" 210
We get Goff's backfield mate he will juke someone, jump over them, run through someone, and catch the ball out of the back field. He reminds me of Forte he can do a little bit of everything. He will split carries with Mathews and Sproles then we can get a legit 1-2 punch with the strength of next year's RB class.

With the 164th Pick the Eagles select Anthony Zettle DE/3T 6'4" 284
He is a bit of a tweener but he will be able to play DE on running downs and kick inside on passing downs. Solid depth player.

With the 188th Pick the Eagles select De'Vondre Campbell SAM Minnesota 6'4" 230
A depth player we have visited him and has been on our radar for a while now I also did an overview on the Draft Prospect tread a while ago but it's lost now.

With the 233th Pick the Eagles select Jakeem Grant WR/RS Texas Tech 5'7" 170
As an opportunity to make the team has a returner and if he can he can be vauable has a gadget player also.

With the 251th Pick the Eagles select A.J Stamps S Kentucky 6'0" 195
Depth player he is small but isn't scared to hit mocked him to us before.

I wanted to get rid of some players like Hart or Maragos.

I wanted to put Judon in for Zettle if he would be there?

Is there anyway Peake could find his way in my mock?

Can't find any late round corner I like Sad

This would be too good to be true.

I think Hargrove might go late second early third. Like Matt Ioandidis too.

Like it... Anything that potentially lands us a franchise QB, I'm all for. Since 1989 (27 years), we've only had 5 top-10 picks.... And 2 (Anyone Davis and Mike Mamula) we had to trade up for. We're rarely in position to get one of the top-2 QBs in a draft.

And we need one. This team is going nowhere with Bradford... And next year you might not be this close to a top QB... you'd be starting completely over with someone new.

Do we need to jump the niners for Goff? Chip and QB hand size and what not. Especially if they're seemingly now gonna keep Kaepernick. I dunno, I think I'd just prefer to keep that extra 3rd.

I have no issues with Hargrove. I'd love to see him or Ridgeway on the team.

I have a preference to Rees Odhiambo and Shon Coleman. Which is why I'd like the other 3rd. Though I'm not positive Coleman falls that far. That being said, McGovern isn't a bad pick. Though he'll need to develop.

Lasco has oodles of athleticism, interesting to see if he can translate that into a career. Prosise is my favorite mid round RB.

The picks after that I can see the thought process behind. Everyone has their preferences, no reason to squabble over those types of prospects.

Overall, not bad. I'd live with it.

Not bad. I'd still worry about WR though.

I love it.

Got us IMO the best QB in the draft and by far the best fit. A future stud at DT along with a long term starter on the interior line.
