| what about vilma..we should pick him up....i mean hello we did draft him and we do have a need. let somone go and pick up......TED THOMPSON doesnt seem to be to aggressive in patching up holes in our defense.... |

I MEANT ROSS VERBA.....I LOVED HIM WHEN HE PLAYED FOR US...BUT WE PROBABLY CANT AFFORD HIM..... |

Nah, we don't need him. Our holes are at tackle, where Verba plays. Also, he will be asking for way too much. I think the Texans might try and get him.

| I was never that high on Verba. Don't get me wrong, he was decent, but nothing I'd want to chase after. |

| Ross Verba was a whipping boy when he was in Green Bay b/c he always seemed to be the guy giving up sacks on Favre. Given the beating that he took from the fans during those post Super Bowl years, I don't think he'd be open to coming back. He also just isn't that great. We'd end up paying more money for a downgrade at Tackle. If we were going to throw the kind of money that Verba wants at a Tackle then we should have done that to try and keep Wahle. |
