Yeah your offense is always good.. but just a side note, I can get the link if you want it, but I read somewhere that Trent Green said he was really looking forward to passing to Hakim and hes dissapointed he is gone

Chiefs | Green Wanted to Throw to Hakim
Fri, 17 Jun 2005 20:23:45 -0700

KCChiefs.com reports Kansas City Chiefs QB Trent Green said he was disappointed to hear free agent WR Az-Zahir Hakim has decided not to sign with the Chiefs. "I am disappointed because I think he is a great weapon to have and he brings a lot in terms of big play ability," Green said. "I think he would have fit in real well with the team with the chemistry…If coach Vermeil and him determined there was a better opportunity for him then I can't argue with it. I wish him the best." As reported, Hakim could land with the New Orleans Saints.

As a matter of fact, theres a little more on Green and the Chiefs offense, I thought it might interest you...

Chiefs | Green Confident in Receiving Corps
Fri, 17 Jun 2005 20:22:18 -0700

KCChiefs.com reports Kansas City Chiefs QB Trent Green is confident in the team's current crop of wide receivers, although he added he wouldn't be apposed to bringing in some veteran help before training camp. "I feel confident with the guys we have but your just going in with a lot of inexperience," Green said. "Other than Eddie Kennison there is a lot of inexperience. I feel confident with the talent these guys have but it's being able to sustain it for a 16-week season and hopefully 20 or more weeks."

I guess he felt that Hakim had that experience he was looking for, and I'm sure that is why he is disappointed. However, I think he and your offense will do just fine, as they always do Wink

Kind of sounds like he got offered a better deal. We might be looking at Freddie Mitchell now.
