At the beginning of the year I had it like this:
1. Atlanta Braves
2. Florida Marlins-getting the Wild Card
3. Philadelphia Phillies
4. Washington Nationals
5. New York Mets
As of right now I have it like this (how I think the final standings will wind up):
1. Atlanta Braves
2. Washington Nationals-might get the Wild Card, but I personally think the Astros will take it.
3. Philadelphia Phillies
4. Florida Marlins
5. New York Mets _________________

NL East is definately the toughest division... There all in the thick of division title as well as wildcard contention.... Sure all 5 teams in the division are hovering around .500 in the division; but thats because not one team is better then the other in that division so it will look like that... EX: Marlins beat Braves, Braves beat Nats, but Nats beat Marlins... Get the picture?
If one of these teams were in any other division they would be dominating or be in 2nd place... _________________

I completely agree. On paper, they are stacked. Great pitching and great hitting should mean a great team, but unfortunately for them, the game's not played on paper. |
