Reno sucked last year, and I've never seen anything special out of him, and Perry played very well IMO, and he completely flattened some guy on his TD run as if he had hit him with the truck stick from Madden, which was awesome. That's good enough for my vote. I think after seeing Reno last year and Bruce in this game, Perry belongs at #4 on the depth chart and Mahe belongs on the scout team. _________________

Well yeah but that doesn't mean much in terms of this year's job... do you think we used Levens as our #2 last year because of upside? _________________

| Are you shure wre talking about the 4th RB? If Buck doesn't get his knee well enough to practice and BPerry keps running hard up the middle, look for Buck to be put on the PUP list (if not released) and Perry become part of the 3 headed monster |

Perry looked way better than Mahe yesterday. _________________

Mahe - 3 carries, 26 yards, 8.7 ypg
Perry - 11 carries, 34 yards, 3.1 ypg
I thought Mahe had one of his best games yesterday. Showed some elusiveness and speed. That said, I still want Perry to outperform Mahe because I think he's got a lot more upside. But I don't think Perry had a better showing than Mahe last night. |

You can't be serious about Buckhalter being released. Just because he has sustained some injuries, it does not mean wee can forget him setting an Eagles rookie rushing record or scoring 8 TDs a couple of years ago. Am I the only person who remembers him Supermaning over the pilon?
I think that he is very much in the Eagles plans. We need a power back and Bruce Perry will not get the job done. What are we going to do resign Dorsey Levens? |

I agree it's unlikely they cut him but they may have no choice because of his health. You're probably right that they'd at least IR or PUP him unless the specialist says he's done.
And I don't think Levens is that bad of a choice as long as he's part of a three man rotation and not the main guy. Has Eddie George signed with anybody? Anyone think he's got anything left? Is there anyone out there - either a veterran who can fillin here and there or a rookie who was squeezed out by sheer numbers? |
