hmmm, I can't speak on how much impact he had as an AD, maybe a lot or maybe a little, I don't really know, but I'm still saddened by this. |

This. I'd love to see it, but no way he leaves Wisconsin. I hope we look into Oliver Luck at WVU or Bryne at Arizona.

I'd rather hire someone within the system or someone with ties like Trev Alberts (though many hate that idea). Hiring someone who doesn't have ties could lead us to another Pederson debacle. |

Alberts killed the football and wrestling programs at UNO, which was a pretty huge head-scratcher. Their football program was a very good DII program and their wrestling team won the DII national championship in '91, '04, '05, '06, '09, '10, and '11.
EDIT: Story on how the division switch went down at UNO. Whether it was the right decision to make is a fair discussion. But the way the situation was handled was absolutely wrong. I don't think I'd be in favor of Alberts being the AD at UNL in any way, shape, or form. Not nearly enough experience and a very poor track record, in my opinion.

Great finish and the defense actually showed up! Gave up plays early, but the second half was stellar.
Now, let's see what happens when we don't spot teams a few TDs.
