Curious to see what kind of damage control KF conjures up at tomorrow's press conference.

Lot of little rumors floating around...

~ I've heard that KF will announce his resignation tomorrow.
~ Announcing 2015 will be his last season.
~ Greg Davis(OC), Bobby Kennedy(WR) and Chris White(ST) will not return in 2015
~ Brian Ferentz will be named OC and Asst HC.
~ Will explain the reasoning behind the January 8th depth chart that was released. Basically explaining that all starting spots are up for grabs.
~ Rudock will not return in 2015.
~ Answer questions about CJB and what happened in the month of preparations prior to bowl game.

Personally, I expect a whole lot of nothing from this.

One thing I have heard confirmed via his FB - LB Reggie Spearman will be transferring.

Season predictions?

Not real confident Iowa does enough to save KF from being fired or asked to resign.

No way. In the same boat as Miami is with Golden this year. Ready to see Kirk gone. We need a new playbook, with something that may entice a WR to want to come play.

Yup, predict us going 5-7... but pick out the predicted win against your team and whine about it. Not really a bold prediction since we haven't lost to Minnesota at home in 16 years... but hey, i'm being ridiculous.

Ott was a freak on Saturday.

Also, sad news out of Oskaloosa today as former Hawkeye safety Tyler Sash has passed away at the age of 27.

I was literally just reading about that. Tyler Slasher was awesome in Iowa.. just struggled to put it together in the NFL. I know he had a string of arrests a couple of years ago.. sounds like the dude just went down the wrong route. RIP

Cause of death known?

Wouldn't be surprised to see multi drug toxicity or opiate overdose, unfortunately.

Autopsy tomorrow, but I'm with you. Sounded like he had quite a few problems going on, but very sad nonetheless.

Yeah, believe he had some substance abuse issues.

Really sad that he's gone so soon, and seemed like a bright, charismatic guy with many who liked him.
