Incredible. Attempting to win the game late is so anti-Kirk Ferentz, but he truly seems different this year. I'm starting to get excited about the possibilities for this team.

Same. I haven't felt this way about a Hawks team in years.

Gritty football. A lot of emotion on that field that we haven't seen in a while.

Oh.... Desmond King. Cool

Today was good to see. Not because I had any doubt that they could beat north Texas, but I wanted to see them blow out a team that they should blow out. Last years nonconference them stumbled through with scores like 20-17...and that's if they actually won.

It's an exciting time for sure.

If someone would have told me 2 months ago Iowa would be sitting at 4-0, I'd have laughed in their face. It's a soft schedule and I'm leery of how this team will do against tougher competition, but thus far there is a noticeable difference in all phases. Ferentz too. The heat appears to have made him step out of his shell a little.

It's been a while since they blew out a team that didn't belong on the field with them, so that was definitely good to see.

Tough one now with Wisconsin, but certainly a winnable game. The winner here is probably the favorite in the West.

Ugly win, but we won nonetheless. 5-0 with homecoming against Illinois up next! Keep this ball rolling!

Definitely not the prettiest of games, but good seasons for Iowa, usually have a couple of ugly wins. Today was one for sure. Great to be 5-0. I'm not a KF fan, but I'm still very happy for him. Took a lot of heat this off season.

How about Jordan Canzeri? School record 43 carries yesterday for 256 yards. He's got 132 carries for 697 yards and 9 TD now, to go with 16 catches for 174 yards and a TD.

On pace for 264 carries, 1,394 yards, 18 TD and 32 catches, 348 yards and 2 TD. He's having one heck of a year.

I know this is mainly football discussion, but what would you think of Iowa-Nebraska baseball meetings in the home park of the College World Series in Omaha? (Strangely the two aren't even meeting in baseball this season)

Congrats on the win today. I was kind of hoping the Iowa-NW game would be a showdown of two unbeatens, but Michigan took care of that. I'd like to have OSU meet Iowa in the conference title game. Let's watch the season play out first.

8-0. Still cannot believe the way this season is going.

It's great to be a Hawkeye.

It's amazing. They're playing so well in all phases. Lovin' it.
