The defense is the strength of the team, but they aren't as good as the ranking (1st in scoring) indicates. Iowa State should have scored at least a touchdown against the Hawkeyes.
They'll once again be one of the top 20-25 scoring defenses in the country, but the numbers are currently inflated due to poor competition.

Why did we pull Ricky Stanzi? He was having a good game, and Jake Christensen has zero pocket prescence.

Well, that was a game we should have won. This man-crush that Kirk has with Jake needs to end now.
On another note, I will get to see future Hawkeye Jordan Cotton tear up my high school for our homecoming game. Should be interesting because we are actually having a successful season, but he should roll us.

Tough loss yesterday for the Black and Gold.
I wish that Ferentz wasn't so damn loyal to Ken O'Keefe, because he really needs to go. I don't understand his play-calling at all.
Shonn Greene was averaging 6+ yards a carry yesterday, and he only carries the ball three times in the 4th quarter? What the hell is that? Not counting the last drive, they ran 20 plays in the 4th quarter, and Greene gets the ball three times? It doesn't make sense.

Yesterday was the first time I saw Shonn Greene play and i gotta say, dude is a BEAST.
I've been thinking about the qb change and I still don't get it. That game was ours to lose and the coaching and Jake didn't disappoint.

I hate our coaching staff.
I have gotten to the point that I don't care if it means Ferentz has to go, I want Ken O'Keefe out of Iowa City.
We are going to get smoked next week at Michigan State.

Figured I'd bring this up since I didn't feel like posting in Minnesota's thread.
Nice end to the season. Who woulda thought that Shonn Greene would run for 100 every game?
If we can get our passing game consistent, and if Greene stays then we could be a very good team next year.
