Don't even know where to begin about what I've seen thus far. Last week wasn't a confidence builder and today's game was a flat out awful performance.

Before the start of the season, I thought they could surprise some people, especially if JVB made the expected jump as a 5th year senior.
He is a one-read QB. If that 1st option isn't there, no chance. However, it's not all on JVB. It seems like the entire offense is disjointed. Predicable play calling, inconsistent blocking, and WR drops are killing any chance the offense has.

its not even close to being on JVB, our WRs can't catch. There was what 10 drops yesterday, and several that would have been the difference in the game.

Yeah, JVB threw one bad pass. Unfortunately, it was at the end of the game and resulted in a pick.
Problems with the WRs were much more detrimental. I also think those problems can be fixed.
Still though, 6 pts against Iowa freakin State. They are going to be giving up 40 regularly in the Big 12 and we only put up 6.

Iowa is gonna lose by 20 this weekend I just know it. Good thing I'll be attending a different football game so I can zone myself out of the incoming catastrophe

UNI is just that much better.
And good for them, almost beating Wisconsin, going to beat us. Should look good when they jump to DI.

I don't disagree with either of you on Iowa losing, but their D still seems pretty stout. Hence, I don't see a major blowout. I've got UNI by 14.

That won't come until Kirk goes to the Pros.
We need someone to come in here and get us some non-country boys. The B1G is changing and need someone to bring in the speed and talent to compete...Kirk hasn't done this since hes been here, and he had a great chance to about 4-5 years ago, and we never turned the corner.
