So much for it being Barney's half-sister.
Unless she's also a bassist in the best reggae band in the tri-state area and played at her half-brother's wedding. _________________

As mentioned, awesome awesome episode. I knew it'd be good after the first segment before the theme. _________________

Episode started off weak but ended up great. The confetti gag was great.
Also was Cobie Smulders sick. She sound extremely hoarse and seemed unable to get her lines out. _________________

It's not 'How I Romanced Your Mother,' which would be a great show and there have been great iterations of that, but that's not the show we're doing. I appreciate people's frustrations and would maybe ask them to forget the show's title. If we had called it 'Ted and His Buddies' or something, maybe there'd be fewer complaints. |

Forgot to mention how strong of an episode it was for Lily. She actually made me laugh on multiple occasions, and Alyson Hannigan's acting in the rooftop scene was great.

I noticed that too. I think I read somewhere that she actually was sick. _________________

I agree, the rooftop is about the first time Lily has been tolerable in a while. Its about time they wrote something other than ditzy mom. _________________

I bet Ted doesn't even talk to the mother at the wedding, he just sees her and feels a connection. And the last episode will be him formally meeting her _________________

He absolutely doesn't talk to her at the wedding. In the first episode of the season, "Farmhampton," we see him sitting on the bench in the rain and the mother walks up with the yellow umbrella.
He's going to have a connection at the wedding, and the true meeting will happen at that train station. _________________
