I'm just tired of Barney/Robin already and Ted's story not moving an inch since the end of season 2.
And I'm talking about realistic terms. His story has just been spinning it's wheels. _________________

One of the better shows on TV right now. Barney Stinson is the best character on any show on TV right now. _________________ Why, if it isn't my old friend, Mr. McGreg. With a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg. |

What would you have them do? Once they show the mother it's pretty much jumped the shark. It's not like the Stella story didn't lead them anywhere. _________________

Yessir! Can't wait for next season. I expect that it could very well be the final season or the second to last one. Now that Ted has the teaching job and we know he meets his wife there, I don't really see how they could keep the show going on much longer, which is a bummer. _________________

Did it say in his class or just at that school? Because I'm sure there are a lot of girls in a university. _________________

I find that the show is better when Ted is single and is not in a relationship, but the whole point of the show is to find out Ted met his children's mother.
I give it another season, maybe 2. They might have a season were they are a newlywed couple. _________________

The show will not end after he meets his wife. Yes that was the pretense of the show, but it more about the Friends and their relationships. Also just because he would meet her in that class doesn’t mean they would get immediately together. It took JD and Eliot many season before they were finally together. I say they a few more season in them _________________

Carter Bays (creator of HIMYM) disagrees, he has come out multiple times and said that the plan has allways been to reveal the mother during the series finale. (most recently in enertainment weekly a couple of weeks ago)
now wether they keep to that is another story. _________________ When you base your opinions off of facts instead of searching for facts that support your opinions you will find yourself often the contrarian but rarely the fool. |

I've watched it for a while, it's a pretty good show, but I've got others I like better. _________________

I completely agree and I dropped it from my DVR. The Barney and Robin scenario was/is ridiculous and inexcusable as a friend. Barney used to be my favorite character on the show and now I despise him (not that he doesn't still get some great lines).
Rules of Engagement is so much better and the writing is superior. _________________

Rules of Engagement sucks so bad,I only watch it because the girls on there are super fine. Big Bang Theory is better than both, but How I Met Your Mother is close. _________________

Yeah, but they also joked about both of them in the show: Lilly with her hot dog eating and Robin throwing up in a purse and joking with Ted and Barney that she was pregnant. I thought they did a decent job with Allison hiding that she was pregnant but you could tell Cobie was pregnant. _________________

It helped that she wasn't on the show for 4 episodes _________________
