| 4* WR Eldridge Massington committed to USC a few days ago, I haven't seen anyone post anything about it. |

Matt Barkley is going to shatter every Pac-12 and USC passing record next season.
• Barkley's career passing yards: 9,054
• USC career passing yard record: 10,693
• Pac 12 career passing yard record: 11,249
• Barkley's career touchdown passes: 80
• USC & Pac 12 career passing touchdown record: 99
So Barkley needs to pass for 2,300 yards and 19 touchdowns next season in 14 games (asssuming we play in the Pac-12 championship, and a bowl game) to be the best statistical quarterback in the history of the conference. |

Barkley is such a stud. Even if(when) he gets all the records, I'm still not sure I'd put him over Leinart for his career, though. _________________

His voice was incredible. |

Assuming (and this is a big assumption) that Barkley wins the Heisman this year and leads USC to a national championship, he HAS to go down as the greatest QB in USC history. Not just for his accolades, but the fact that he was the face of the program in the most troubled time in its history. Who could have predicted that we would be where we are now back when we got sanctioned years ago? _________________

Honestly, I don't think you can compare Barkley to other USC QBs. It's just such a jacked up different situation: coaching change, inheriting a declining rather than rising team, and the sanctions. The best you can do is look at his career in a bubble...and it's a pretty damn awesome bubble. I won't even lump the NC title on him, but if he leads us back to Rose Bowl victory, he'll have to stand as one of the most important QBs in USC history.

I'm very curious to see just what LK plans to do with these bigger, lankier WRs (Rogers and Massington). Butler never really impressed LK. You look at the 3 deep, not one of the WRs tops 6'1". _________________

| 6'3 isn't a true RB. Justin Davis once you land him will be more accurate to that description. Not to say he can't do it, but he may be better at a different position. |

Thank god. It would be amazing to get Justin Davis too but we have other holes to plug for scholarships. _________________

No, we're getting Davis too. We're gonna end up with 8, maybe 9 commits by the end of June once Davis, Su'a and Hutch commit. _________________

It could very well be that Isaac committed to deter Davis. Now that you have Isaac, I don't see Davis commiting. There are too many other programs where he could be the featured back. No way Isaac committed without being told he's the man. |

| Quote: | Another running back USC is recruiting hard is Ty Isaac from Joliet, IL. Davis has had an opportunity to communicate with him a few times and if he were to choose USC, Davis would welcome the addition.
"I can tell you that it's going to be a big positive for me, because if I do play with a back of his caliber, it will definitely keep me up on my toes," said Davis. "It will ensure my work ethic doesn't go down any and I could look at it that we're going to be the two best backs in the nation.....a one-two tandem." |
USC was always going to take 2 backs this class. Davis will end up at USC, I'd bet a mortgage on it. _________________

I won't take that bet. I'm a Michigan fan and really wanted Isaac. But I can't hate. USC is a great school, and you have the weather and cuties to go with it. When he flew his mother to the West coast for a second visit, deep down inside, I knew he was California Dreaming on a Cold Michigan Day. |
