Hi everyone

Being a Russian who lives in New Zealand I am very new to football. But somehow I quickly became Raiders fan.

Anyways, I do not have an opportunity to watch any matches. But I wish to know what has been happening to Moss. I know that he has been injured at the beginning, but lately his states haven't improved either. Why is that? Is he still injured, or is he not trying hard enough, or is he covered too tightly to catch any passes?

Also, I followed the live summary of last match on NFL.com and it seemed that Collins didn't try to trought any passes to him? Was it a strategy to put Moss' cover to sleep or was he just ignoring him?

Yup moss got injured and he still isn't 100%-- collins isnt throwing the ball to him that much- maybe because he is not open (which is doubtful), but most likely because raye, turner or collins is being stupid

he still has a couple nice tds-- he caught a great one against the browns

Welcome aboard. If you are becoming a fan now than you have my respect. As for Moss, he has not been the same since he was hurt. I know that he is supposedly back to full strength but he does not look that way to me. His speed has not returned and I think he is just playing tough. Expect him back at full strength no sooner than next season. Plus, Moss plays an add-lib style which requires alot of chemistry with a QB. With Collins that chemistry is just not there. Finally, Moss gets coverage that only a few WR's in the league get so other WR's need to step up. Curry has been hurt most of the year and Porter has yet to show that he is a true #1, and Courtney Anderson is still raw. When opposing secondaries have to respect more than just Moss, his numbers, and the entire offense will explode.

Thanks for welcoming words, guys! Smile

Do you think that OAK might acquire a new QB in post-season, or will they try to develop Walter?

I'm putting this mostly on Collins. Collins has guys open, and doesn't see them. This passing attack should be sick, but watching it makes me want to puke.
As far as QB, I personally see (and hope) they dump Collins and Tui, and pickup Aaron Brooks to compete with Walter.
