The first one is the high profile Ross Barkley who seems to have exploded on the scene this season, the other player is Matthew Briggs of Fulham who has impressed me in the Europa League games I have seen him play so far. |
I think you should do the Briggs on Lee and this is the only Fulham player you may ever get to do | Yeah man I'll do one on Matty Briggs, I think he could be something pretty special.
I'll try and get around to one on Ninis as well. Might not be till saturday though. _________________

Massive kudos to the guys that kept this going, especially LeeEvans.
I've been too busy to be messing about on here lately, finally finding some time in between college to chill out.
Should be back for a while now, just letting you guys know. _________________

How have Vidal and Elia settled in? I don't think Elia's played much yet, might be wrong. _________________

Got a bit of time on my hands, might aswell get back in the swing. I'm going to do a few from the football league.
Lewis Dunk
Age: 19
Position: CB
Nationality: English
Club: Brighton & Hove Albion
At 6ft 4 inches, Dunk is an imposing presence at centre half. He's broken into the Brighton first team this year due to injuries to regular starters but has been a pleasant surprise for the Brighton fans. With only 14 appearances to his name, Dunk is an inexperienced player if you're going by stats but he looks far from it on the pitch. He's what I'd call the 'new breed' of CB's. An athlete with defensive instincts, rather than the traditional 'hustle and bustle, clear the ball to touch' CB style. Only 10 games into the season, Brighton Manager Gus Poyet is already having to fend off interest from the likes of Arsenal, Aston Villa.. ''They'll have to pay. I'm not bothered. Everybody's got a price. Dunky has got his price because of the way he plays'' to quote the man himself. _________________

Elia hasn't gotten PT yet really. _________________

Wilfried Zaha
Age: 18
Position: LW/CF/RW
Nationality: Ivorian/English
Club: Crystal Palace
Comparison: Scott Sinclair
I'm sure you can tell the player Zaha is just from looking at him. Lightning fast, direct, attacking player. He's had a great start to this campaign, after a stop-start one last year, also keeping in mind he was only 17 years old. Having watched him in the flesh last month, I was very impressed with him despite being on the losing side. There's still flaws in his game, as expected due to his age, but with correct nurture, he's got massive potential. The attacking instincts and flair are there for all to see, it's whether he can add the tactical side of the game to his locker. He's been watched this season by many scouts from top European teams, including reported interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich. To be having such an impact in what is probably the best second division in world football at 18 years old is rare. Keep an eye on him. |

Eduardo Vargas
Age: 22
Position: ST, AM, RW, LW
Club: Universidad de Chile
Chile's new star player on the making is called Eduardo Vargas, a lightning fast striker that has great ball control, dribbles pretty well and has a superb finishing some people already compare him to Alexis Sanchez. Drawing some interest from European big clubs, such as Chelsea, Villarreal, AC Milan, I think he has the potential to be a better player than Alexis Sanchez. Thing that's downright scary. He currently is fighting with Nilmar for the South American Footballer of the Year, scoring 26 goals in 45 games at the local league and other 9 goals in Copa Sudamericana. He's not tall, but he squeaks through defenders like none other, knows what to do with the ball displaying great vision when passing and maintains composure, is fast with and without the ball which makes him hard to stop because he also dribbles pretty well and finishes like your typical 9. He's only 22 and has all the tool available to become an all world player, he's the whole package. Will be probably sold in January for around $15M, but he will probably stay at loan at U. de Chile to play Copa Libertadores and develop. Watch out for him, he has an amazing future. _________________

Thanks a lot for that one. I really hope Chelsea are able to buy him. They look really interested. _________________

Has Frank Fielding been done? I didn't see his name on page 22.
Jonathan Williams from Crystal Palace looks like an interesting young player as well. _________________
