I would hate to be the graphic designer who's stamp is on that. |
We don't know who designed it, so their stamp isn't on it...it was designed like that in 1962. _________________

| I'm coming up to Minnesota to watch a vikings game this year. What else would you all suggest doing while in Minneapolis / St. Paul. I'm under 21 btw, so bars isn't an option. |

Mall of America |
That's almost standard protocol. However, I'd also suggest hitting either Matt's or the 5 and 8 Club for a Juicy Lucy (My preference is Matt's). You don't need to be 21 to go in those (only have to be 21 to drink)
It also depends upon what you're into...the Zoo is great, Walker Art Center is pretty good, as well as the State Capitol in St. Paul. _________________

Lots of great museums if your into that. Also Matts Bar and 5 8 club are good suggestions. Valley Fair is cool if your into rides. If you like casinos, Mystic Lake is solid (though be prepared to lose money, i havent had any luck there).
Id try and avoid Mall of America. I worked there a long time ago, its a zoo full of tourists. There are better places to go shopping with less crowds, and im not sure what the appeal is to walk around and window shop and view a less than mediocre amusement park. |

I think I'm going to Minnesota next year!
That is, if the Steelers play Minnesota in the Dome. If thats the case, it works out fine. I'll be 21 and go to the bars and stuff.
I imagine Minnesota being a peaceful place in the spring summer. Idk how it would be in the fall. _________________

It's war torn and full of militant rebels in the fall and winter. _________________

Maybe the ones that bring their daughters. There's a good chance many of them had kids before they turned 18. Perfect ages for a young 32 year old like myself. I'm right in between both groups.
Now if my wife was just give me the ok. _________________

I find it odd that so many of the groups from the 1960's through the early 1980's are still touring. There's something strange bout 60 year old grandparents still playing teen rebel rock. It could be another anomaly of the baby boomer generation. Don't get me wrong, I love the music. But seeing your favorite band headlining at a Minnesota casino is like finding your favorite album in the CD bargain bin at WalMart.
How many successful bands in the 1985-1995 timeframe are still touring?
It blows my mind to realize Kiss was in their prime 35 years ago. So in comparison, when I was growing up in the 1970's, there should have been bunches of big bands still touring on their 1935-1945 success. The only big bands still touring that I remember were Buddy Rich and Maynard Ferguson.
Enjoy the concert. Sounds like fun. |

There are so many 70's and 80's bands still touring. I think it has a lot to do with the music industry the way it is today. The radio stations are just drowning the airwaves with pop and rap music. There's a market for these older bands still because of the lack of good rock music on the radio. I'm going because a buddy bought my ticket to lure me into going. _________________
