Love seeing one of my drops go early. Really thought about keeping Stoudemire for second straight year but opted for Ibaka. Stoudemire has talent but age starting to show. Misses ton of time.

Liked Ibaka nearly 4 shot blocks a game and hoping he scores some more this year.

If not I'll regret dropping Stoudemire

Two more excellent picks in Mayo and Gay. Like Mayo because of the dual role.

Lawson?

I liked him because I could get assists from my SG position, which is helpful with no keeper level PG and high FG%. Figured with Howard and Horford as keepers, I should try to keep FG% or else waste my keepers.

X_Factor_40:

Paul Millsap, PF

With Kobe and Millsap at a good 1-2 punch X has set himself up nice. B. Lopez is a nice C. His blocks under 1.0 and rebound under 4.0 is a bit concerning for a big guy but he can score. M. Ellis at PG/SG can touch all the cats but blocks and dual elig.

I had Millsap rated as #1 player available.

Overall draft grade A+

Amare Stoudemire, PF/C

This pick makes sense from a need perspective. He is also dual elig which bumps his value slightly. However I had several C and a couple PF rated a bit higher. I had Stoudemire as the 17th best available overall.

However the C position is not the deepest so not going to hammer the #17 overall.

Grade: B-

Ty Lawson SG, PG

PG position can get a little tricky. There are some value guys out there but overall there is a typical drop off. I had Lawson rated as #2 overall available. His dual elig is a plus as well. Given need for PG on this roster its even better pick.

Overall grade: A+

Rudy Gay, SF

DB lacked a SF which a lot of teams do if they do not have top guys at the position. After Durant, James and Kobe the SF position gets a bit blurry.

I had Gay as 5th best overall available but he was #1 overall available SF.

Overall grade A+

Its A Sabotage:

Loul Deng, SF

Another guy I had for a long time last year before he got hurt during my playoff push.

Very very underrated. Think is was a bit of a reach though at this point. Solid player though.

Grade B-

PF/C Anthony Davis, New Orleans Hornets

Honestly didn't even have to read the thread to know who 1King drafted. He always drafts rookie wether it be football, baseball or now basketball.

The Hornets lineup in generally doesnt look very good. I get that Davis is 19 with a TON of upside and has more value in keeper league. I get that. Simply think this was a huge reach. I am not 100% sure he wouldnt have been there in round 2 though because others in this league like young rookies too.

Hard to grade this but simply based on who was avail and Davis being an unknown I am going to knock it a bit. His KEEPER upside is huge though so it wont get dinged hard.

Grade: C

I agree I reached for him, but I am very confident he wouldn't have made it to my next pick.

Like I said I understand it from keeper side. Also not sure he would have knowing a few other owners style.

Honestly he was 1 of 4 guys I had on my small BB for upcoming pick of mine. There is no 1 star on Detroit and he plays a ton of minutes.

He is a good double double guy. You know you can get 10 boards and 10 points any night from him. I wish his block numbers would be a bit higher.

Also sucks he doesnt have PF/C dual and only C or I would have had him a little higher.

Keeper league wise he has value too.
