Thank you RBNY. Now we control our playoff fate.

Sounders limp into the playoffs since San Jose got the draw today.

A little disappointed since I'm going to the last game. Doubt Dempsey, EJ or Martins touch the field, along with most of the starters.

If they're fit, they have to, still have to play for seeding, you want to avoid the play-in at all costs.

5 teams in the West are set (just not the standings), SJ and the Vancouver Camilos miss out

Philly, Chicago, NE, Montreal still battling in the East in the last week. Shocked that Houston could miss the playoffs

Me too, but I don't think they will. They have DC away while Chicago has to go to NY and the Revs to Columbus. NY/CHI should be a good one, but I can't see the Red Bulls losing at home with Silverware on the line, even though it would be so like the Red Bulls to do so.

Great news. I would expect that the official announcement would come around MLS Cup.

Hopefully they bring Kaka over too.

Most likely. And if they add Miami, Atlanta and a team out West more (San Antonio for example) as expected, I'd assume that Sporting KC would go to the West too.

ATL, CHI, CLB, DC, MIA, MTL, NY, NYC, NE, ORL, PHI, TFC

CHV, COL, FCD, HOU, LA, POR, RSL, SA, SEA, SJ, SKC, VAN

Or they could do four divisions of six.

DC, NY, NYC, NE, PHI, TFC

ATL, CHI, CLB, MIA, MTL, ORL (you could put DC here so TFC/MTL wouldn't be split, but DC has rivalries with RBNY, NE and PHI)

COL, FCD, HOU, RSL, SA, SKC

CHV, LA, POR, SEA, SJ, VAN

Jermaine Jones eyeing MLS move this winter.

Getting word Schalke & USA MF Jermaine Jones has engaged US-based reps to explore possible #mls move this winter. #usmnt

He has a home in Los Angeles, so he'd obviously want to go to the Galaxy. But he has said before he'd have no problems going to Chivas, and with the Galaxy having all three DP slots filled, I'd say it's pretty likely he ends up at Chivas, if he's hell bent on only playing in LA.

Think he'll make a move after the World Cup, but I would be surprised to see it happen over the winter.
