NYC police will not bring charges against Bears WR Brandon Marshall for a melee at a nightclub in March, said his attorney Harvey Steinberg.

Well it sounds official that he has been cleared. Hopefully he keeps his head out of trouble and focuses on getting some new jewelry this winter |
Emery's a genius. Wonder if Ireland still stands by "we would have cut him anyway" |
If Marshall was suspended 3 games emery would be a genius lol. Marshall for 13 games > heater + Roy wiliams for 16 games _________________ Adopt-A-Bear: Charles Tillman; Total Tackles- 86, Solo Tackles- 74, Passes Defended- 16, Interceptions- 3, TD's- 3 "Peanut Punches"- 10 Fumbles recovered- 2

I can't get it to show up on here, but it's just the two of them standing sid-by-side in their uniforms. Nothing too exciting. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

I remember the Bears were very interested in Collins before the 2010 draft. |

I hate dealing with Verizon customer service...honestly it was 1.5hrs on the phone just to get my new modem working...the girl just kept yapping about this and that and seriously...just get my modem working. I've programmed 7200 series Cisco routers honey, I understand how to log into a modem/router...you don't have to explain it to me. Just tell what I need to fix inside your POS modem to make it work. ARGH!!!! _________________

Here's a random but telling stat from Football Outsiders: defeat rate for 2011. That this, the percentage of tackles for one player that ends in a turnover, a loss of yardage, or a stop on 3rd or 4th down. The league leader was Peppers, who had 23 defeats on 40 tackles (58%). For people who only look at Peppers having 19 sacks the past 2 seasons, this is a good stat to show that he gets pressure while also being in position to stone run plays.

| Quote: | The Bears are projecting second-year DT Stephen Paea as a 30-40 snap-per-game rotational player this season.
He's the top backup to NT Matt Toeaina and under tackle Henry Melton, and the trio will work in a near-even rotation. Though Paea struggled coming off a Senior Bowl knee injury for most of last season, he flashed when he played with 14 tackles, two sacks, and six QB pressures in 11 appearances (no starts). |
I can't see it taking too long for Paea to pass Big Toe as the starting NT...but as this says it will be a heavy rotation as always...just wish we had that 4th guy who could play a decent amount of snaps as well...maybe one of the try out guys we have brought in can step up like Okoye did last year. |

Same here I just have a feeling that they are going to be tired towards the end of games and not be as effective, hopefully some one steps up or I am wrong. _________________

The part where RGIII pointed out alshon jeffereys belly was pretty funny. But alshon is looking like he is in very good shape and looks pretty good in that uniform. I think he will end up putting on about 5-10 pounds still and that will be right around where the bears want him. _________________

Yeah he seemed really excited in that vid. Seems to have a good attitude and I'm excited to see how his enthusiasm and work ethic translate on the field. |

For as much as the Bears say they like to get off the bus running and the quality of some of the RBs the Bears have had, it has been since 1997 since the Bears have had a RB get double digit rushing touch downs. The closest have been 9 in 2005 by Thomas Jones and 8 in 2008 by Forte, thats pretty bad if you ask me. _________________

| Quote: | Bears OG Chilo Rachal has dropped "30 some pounds" from last summer, now weighing in at a svelte 310.
"I'm in real good shape," Rachal said. "I feel explosive. I can move good." With size and athleticism well-suited to pull in OC Mike Tice's rushing attack, Rachal is going to give LG Chris Spencer a run for the starting job this summer. |
Good to hear he is taking this shot seriously…the weight loss should help his pass pro. |
