Bears over 9.5 wins: Bigger than the addition of Brandon Marshall is the loss of offensive coordinator Mike Martz. Jay Cutler will now have protection.

HC Lovie Smith never gets any credit for this, but the Bears are the only NFL team with a ST's unit that is a fully formed third part of the Bears system.
Mike Ditka brought back ST's in the early '80's from Dallas.
The Bears have a history of great kickers and great punt/kick returners. Gale Sayers in the '60's and Dennis McKinnon in the '80's. Now Devon Hester.

You're right, Lovie doesn't get the credit. That's because Dave Toub, our Special Teams Coach, gets that credit.

Why exactly would we miss a guy that mis-utilized the talent he had and used 7 step drops almost every passing play in turn getting putting our line into positions they couldn't handle and causing out QB to get pulverized 50 times a season?
THe only one missing Martz will be the teams we play...there's a reason nobody else has picked him up as an OC since we booted him.
