Young professional, looking to upgrade his style. There's a train of thought that a man's watch says something about the man. Do you buy this?

Are you a Timex?
Are you a Tudor?
Are you a Rolex?
Are you an Omega?

I'm looking at something nice for my first watch- something that will say I mean business in meetings. I got a nice quote on a Planet Ocean Seamaster, but still seems expensive. Looking at the Tudor Black Bay Heritage, but not sure on the red. IWC is my first choice but, "IWC PHEW wowee much expensive very wow" -- doge

I prefer my watch to be a more versatile, everyday piece; something that I can wear pretty much anywhere and it not look too out of place. It may not be quite "dressy" enough in some settings, but it won't look too out of place, but at the same time when I'm out and about in a casual setting, it looks nice by not overly fancy.

I wear this Timex pretty much everyday:

I'll wear a nicer watch in the event of a special, strictly formal event like a wedding, but this does well for pretty much any other setting, in my opinion. It's also nice that you don't have to break your budget. I paid $35 for it.

Sorry I can't help you pick out a nicer one. Just figured I'd share and this could turn into more of a general watch thread rather than one just to answer your question specifically.

That's nice. That'd be a watch I'd wear, if I wore watches.

Beeen a big fan of Skagen watches, very sleek and yet stylish. They are a good timepiece, but don't feel like you are wearing a load on your arm.

I've been rocking a G Shock every day since seventh grade.

Although I kind of want to get some sort of Swiss watch.
