Sorry if there is already a thread for this, but I couldn't see one anywhere recently....

Anyway..

I honestly think this movie is the best sports movie of all time. I've seen it probably about twenty times and I just watched it today, so it made me think about if there are any better sports movies. It is probably my second favorite overall movie behind Superbad, and it is the best sports movie, significantly ahead of my #2, coach carter and my #3 , remember the titans.

What did you all think about the movie? You think its the best sports movie ever?

Trust me, I loved Coach Carter and Glory Road. But they are nowhere near the best sports movies of all-time.

- Field of Dreams
- Hoosiers
- Raging Bull
- Rocky
- Bull Durham
- Caddyshack
- Hoop Dreams (Underrated)
- Brian's Song

Those are some of the best sports movies of all-time. Sorry if I missed any.

I also really like Glory Road. I do not feel however that it is the best sports movie of all time. Personally I like field of dreams, coach carter, remember the titans all more than Glory Road. But as I said Glory Road was a great movie.

I've seen Field of Dreams and I thought it was average at best..it isn't even close to the top of my list. I own Hoosiers as it is another very good movie, but I liked glory Road more, Raging Bull was good, but not at the top IMO...I completely forgot about the rocky series...that is definitely my favorite series of all time (rocky IV is the best), Caddyshack I consider to be more of a comedy than a sports movie, hoop dreams was okay, and ive never seen brian's song.

Remember the Titans is my number one sports movie of all time. Coach Carter is really good and Glory Road is good, but not great. You guys should see the movie Goal! The Dream Begins its one of my favorites.

I saw them both too, but they weren't as good as Glory Road to me. Glory road had everything a person looks for in a movie..
