This is more frustrating than if we'd just died.

My name is Randy Shannon and I'm a terrible coach.

That was pretty awful. Ended our season. Our only chance is if Va Tech loses to GT and then we win out.

I'm excited about Morris though. I know it was against Virginia, but he was still impressive as a true freshman in his first game.

Bad Points
* We let up way too many big runs in games
* We had no pass rush
*Our secondary lost the game for us when we needed them most
* Oline made too many costly penalties

Good Points
*Morris looked more comfortable as the game went on and looks like we can rely on him
* Not to many drops by WR's they looked solid when they were actually thrown to.
* Miller,Berry and even James looked pretty solid, I feel our pitches with Berry are lights out and he could brake a big one soon.
* Oline protected morris for the most part and other than that big hit on Jacory did well
* Bosher's onside made up for his missed Extra Point which helped us out

Prediction- We beat Maryland,GT and our game against VT will be the deciding game of who wins the coastal division (GT will beat VT)

I lost power early this morning. Get it back mid afternoon, get on internet and see Miami loses to UVA.

What the heck (editing to obey forum rules) happened?

UVA seriously?

I actually like Shannon, but this is starting to get ridiculous.

Ok So I am a Shannon fan but I get up this morning and see that result?? What the hell?? Did we not run the ball?

A dark day to be a hurricanes fan - our season is effectively over (as far as BCS hopes)

As for the question about coaches one name to throw out there:

Jon Gruden

or the way things are in denver Josh McDaniels could be available

Take it for what it's worth, but I'm hearing that Mark Richt is going to be released from his Georgia contract. If this does happen, I think Miami would fire Shannon and pick up Richt.

Again, no solid source, but my guy in Florida has never been wrong about these things.

Well it looks like Stephen Morris is going to start against Maryland reguardless if Harris is cleared. If Harris is cleared to play he will be the number 2 against Maryland. This doesnt mean that Morris will start the rest of the season just for the Maryland until Harris can get a full week of practice.

Also Berry will be keep out of the Maryland game in order to rest his body that has been banged up for the last 2 weeks.

I'll get flack for this, but I actually think as a program Miami would be an upgrade over Georgia for Richt. The conference is obviously a step down, but the recruiting potential is superb as is the history.
