I think Wr could be adressed, but OT and S need to be fixed first. I think the Chargers receivers are deep going into next year, but McCardell is getting up their in age and the Chargers really lack a big time playmaker. There could always be improvement. I think in round 3 would be a good time to take someone. I dont think Moss would be around in round 3 , but maybe someone like Demetrius Williams, Greg Lee, or Jason Avant could be available. That would help to have someone ready to play when McCardell finally hangs it up. Vincent Jackson should hoepfully progress this offseason and be a big target over the middle and in the redzone with Gates.

WR McCardell
WR Parker
WR Caldwell
WR Round 3
WR Vincent Jackson

That looks like a pretty good lineup and very deep. Safety, Middle Linebacker and OT should be adressed first unless there is someone that stands out in round 3.

If were talking Sinorice moss he wont be picked until 3rd, or 4th round tops. I think Roscoe (from last year), and Lance Leggett (next year) will be better pros.

I wouldn't mind Moss. He would help. The pecking order will look like this, at least initially.

1) McCardell
2) Parker
3) Jackson
4) Osgood
5) Malcom Floyd or possible draft pick.

Reche Caldwell is a free agent who is not expected to be re-signed

If you check the other thread you will se WR is NOT a big need and we will not waste a second round pick on a reciever who is not even close to as good as Santana Moss and you saw how long it took him to develop. Sinorice Moss will be no better than a servicable slot reciever, and we need a #1.

I am not opposed to Demetrius Williams in the second round if Kai Parham isnt availalbe, which isnt going to be likely. I think the Chargers should adress the most dier need (OT or S) in the first round, and use the second round pick for more of a luxory item (MLB or WR) Then the third round can be used to adress what isnt in the first round. Williams is a very athletic and tall receiver. Could be a find and work well with McCardell, Parker and hopefully Jackson.

My favorite player of all time is Keenan McCardell so, I don't think he needs to be replaced, but drafting a replacement for Parker/Caldwell wouldn't be a bad idea.

Wow that's some strong words, for him to be your favorite player of all time. Keenan's a class act guy, and even though his stats and value hasn't diminished a bit, people like to think he's done.

Keenan is my 3rd favorite player behind Broadway Joe and Marcus Allen.

He is not done but he is old, and since receivers take a while to develop, it might be a good idea to find someone now that can learn from the master and take over when McCardell decides to hang it up in the next 3 years or so. He is old.
