2 Rounds of a GM Mock for Eagles

I don't know that I am going to finish this one before the draft, but we are through 2 rounds with trades and this is an ideal situation for the Eagles.

44- Brandon Thompson DT Clemson
51- Bobby Wagner LB Utah State

Players traded for:
WR/RS- Jacoby Ford
QB Jimmy Clausen
LB DeMeco Ryans

Players/Picks Traded
CB Asante Samuel
DT Antonio Dixon

Trades:
Eagles trade pick 15, 88 and 172 to Arizona Cardinals for pick 13 and 112
Eagles trade pick 46 and DT Antonio Dixon to the Kansas City Cheifs for pick 44
Eagles trade CB Asante Samuel to the Oakland Raiders for WR/RS Jacoby Ford
Eagles trade pick 201 to the Carolina Panthers for QB Jimmy Clausen

Obviously the Asante Samuel deal is unrealistic and a steal considering they only got a 7th for him.

Why would you trade for Clausen? He sucks.

I'm not a fan of Barron. Thompson is a solid NT prospect, but we need a UT more.

I do like Wagner.

I'd be cool with that. My ideal second round is Wagner and Thompson provided we don't get Brockers or Cox in the first.

I like it. Barron is my dream selection. I also like Wagner a lot. Jacoby Ford would be a nice pickup if he was available.

I disagree with taking Barron here. I could live with it, but I don't think it's the right choice here. Other two are pretty decent picks.

I dont think we should take a safety early for a third year in a row. Last time I checked only 2 of them play and you can't call any of the first 2 a bust yet.

Thompson is a 1 tech, we have 3 on roster that will make the team easy.

If we draft a DT it is for 3 tech depth.
